Sharing

In appreciation of Valentine’s Day later this week, here is a little ditty I wrote fifty years ago. Just twenty-seven words in length but compact with meaning, this poem will appear in the upcoming release of my new poetry collection, “Reflections from the Edge” in mid to late March.

Sharing

I try to fill your image of me

and my image of myself.

I think I could be a person

for the two of us to share.
